Marta & Aura, circus themed wedding in Úbeda

I first met Marta a few years ago at one of her best friend’s weddings in Málaga. When she contacted me to be the photographer for her own wedding, I was absolutely thrilled. In the world of photography, it is always a wonderful sign when one wedding leads to another.

Marta and her partner, Aura, chose Marta’s hometown, Úbeda, as the place to say ‘I do.’ Their preparations took place at the Palacete Sol de Mayo, where they both got ready—each on a different floor to ensure they didn’t see one another before the ceremony. For that special moment, they waited for their ‘first look.’

Both the ceremony and the celebration followed at the Ermita Madre de Dios, located just on the outskirts of Úbeda. Don’t miss a single detail of the circus-themed decor that set the stage for the entire day. Here is a selection of my favorite photos.
