Hey! Nice to e-meet you
I’m Cris
I was born in Granada in the late 70s — yes, late! I studied languages at the University of Granada, and photography started out as something I did in my free time. What began as a hobby gradually grew into something much more meaningful. Over the years, I’ve trained and evolved so I could pursue this profession full-time.
Besides photography and traveling, music and cinema are my other great passions. Paolo Sorrentino, Sofia Coppola, Wes Anderson, Terrence Malick, and Pedro Almodóvar are constant sources of inspiration. I also devour TV series (mostly thrillers and dystopias) and documentaries that keep nurturing my visual imagination.
I love spending time with friends over cold beers (preferably during the day — nightlife isn’t really my thing anymore… remember, I was born in the 70s — late 70s!).
I’ve been photographing weddings since 2012, and I still feel the same excitement and passion for this work. I consider myself lucky to be part of such beautiful, meaningful moments in people’s lives.

FAQ
How do you work?
If I had to be in front of a camera, I wouldn’t know what to do either. That’s why my approach is to make the camera almost invisible — to take that pressure off you. I’ll be with you throughout the day, but always in the background, never interrupting or asking for anything that doesn’t feel natural in the moment. It’s your wedding, and I’m there to make sure the photographs reflect what truly happened.
How many hours do you cover?
Normally, I start with the getting ready 2 or 3 hours before the ceremony and I stay for about an hour after the first dance. But feel free to contact me If you have any other timing in mind.
Do you recommend a second photographer?
95% of the weddings you see on my website were covered by me alone. You can add a second photographer if you’d like to capture both preparations happening at the same time, or if there’s a significant distance between the different locations on the day. But we’ll talk it through and see if it’s really necessary before making that decision.
Do you offer video?
I focus exclusively on photography. If you’re looking for video as well, I’d be happy to recommend trusted colleagues I’ve worked with before.
Do you use artificial intelligence on your work?
Absolutely not. I carefully handle every part of the process — from selecting the photos to the color editing. I dedicate a lot of time and care to your images because, for me, it’s essential that the final result feels human, honest, and truly reflects your day. I want you to be able to relive those moments and remember the people who were part of them. That’s why I only take on a maximum of 15 weddings per season.
Personal Work
As I mentioned before, I really enjoy traveling and discovering new places. I always take my Fuji XT3 with the 56mm and 23mm lenses, along with a couple of plastic film cameras (Kodak M35 and Kodak Ektar H35N), they’re so lightweight and comfortable to carry that they motivate me to take more photos.
